About Me

Hi I’m Michelle.

I’m a woman in technology, electrical engineer by day.

But a Jack-of-all trades by night.

I am a cultural explorer, in which I learn by traveling, eating, living, and breathing in new places.

My love for travel started in 2010 where I made my first visit to a foreign country, Ireland. I was blown away at the cultural differences from the States. Even though we’re all human on this planet, we all do things with similarities, but the smallest differences are in each cultural identity, is what brings us color in our world. Now I seek out new experiences to have a broader world view of how to live life.

I am a snowboarding, scuba diving, Muay Thai fighting thrill seeker.

My love for snowboarding started with video games. I played games like Tony Hawk and SSX tricky and I’ve always wanted to do board sports. I started late in life when I was fully employed to fund my own hobbies at 22 but I’m enjoying every moment of it and hoping to do snow sports for the rest of my life. My love for scuba came from my curiosity of the extraordinary 2nd world under the sea. There’s a whole new world under our feet waiting to be discovered. My love of for martial arts stemmed from the Asian American martial art movies from the 90s. Being from a south east Asian origin, these movies told me that you’re cool when you can bust out some cool moves. Today I know my identity comes from more than being cool and knowing martial arts, but it’s a part of my past. I’m intending to gain a black belt one day in something, not sure what, I’m leaning towards Tae Kwon Do.

I am an artist.

I am a photography hobbyist, I’ve worked with Photoshop since I was 10 years old. I enjoy making photos look good. Got a Nikon D300, and trying to find my style. I’ve done engagement photos for friends and family.

I love food, so I cook, bake, eat and explore adventurous dishes from around the world.

I’m a nerd おたくwho loves video games, anime, comics, board games, cosplaying, sews, attempts to digital art, and I am a fashion enthusiast specifically in Japanese Harajuku kawaii street styles, and starting to collect Vietnamese designers styles

I love composed music and play classical guitar.
