It’s been 6 weeks after graduation…and the undergraduate college chapter of my life has just ended. As Act V has drawn to a close, it time to start a new beginning of a new Act.

It had been tough for me up until graduation the last 3 months. Remember my blog post back in May, my grandmother had a stroke, well, she passed away two weeks ago, during my time at Anime Expo. I got the phone call during the expo, and I decided to go straight to her house when I got the news. I didn’t even have time to change out of my cosplay.
Anyways, I don’t want to turn my blog into a dairy, so I won’t go into too much details. It was 4th of July weekend, and shortly after, spent the whole week preparing/attending the funeral.

Just as everything looked as if I’m sinking under the darkest depths of the ocean, there was a light I followed that allowed me to surface. I had a job interview the week after, and half-hour after the interview I received a phone call saying I got the job! I was the happiest I’ve been in the last few weeks. I had my grandmother to thank for that, she was watching over me, and my boyfriend who never lost faith in me, when my parents and everyone else did.

I’m ready to start this new chapter bright, living the dream I had hoped for after the end of my college days.
